Nicholas Roske flew across the country from California to Virginia on June 7, 2022, landing just before midnight.
He got into a taxi and instructed the driver to take him to a house in Maryland where Kavanaugh and his family resided.
Roske, who had allegedly brought weapons with him, was close to Kavanaugh’s home on June 8, 2022, but received a call from his sister, whom he had texted, “I love you.”
“I told her what I was doing, I was up to, and she told me that that wasn’t the way to go about trying to make the world a better place and, you know, that she didn’t want to, you know, she wanted to have me as a sibling for the rest of her life and not, you know, with that ending,” Roske said in the interview room inside a Montgomery County Police Department station.
Roske told police officers that he planned to break into the house, shoot Kavanaugh, and then shoot himself, according to a newly filed transcript.
He chose to call 911 instead of going through with his plan.
“I need psychiatric help,” he told the dispatcher, in a call that was previously made public.
Officers rushed to the scene and arrested Roske. He is scheduled to go on trial later this year and faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
Roske’s lawyers filed the interrogation transcript, along with other documents, as part of motions seeking to suppress statements he made to law enforcement, as well as any mention of the items officers allegedly found in his suitcase and bag.
Officers illegally searched Roske’s belongings and failed to properly obtain a waiver of his rights before interviewing him, the lawyers said.
Federal agents who questioned Roske did obtain his signature on a form waiving his rights, but that waiver “was not made voluntarily and intelligently,” the lawyers wrote in one of the motions.
“At the time, Mr. Roske was acutely suicidal, visibly exhausted, and had repeatedly expressed his need for psychiatric care,” the motion states. “Because these latter statements were not preceded by valid Miranda waivers, they too must be suppressed.”
Prosecutors have not yet responded to the motions.
Motivation
Elsewhere in the newly released interview transcript, Roske detailed his motivation for allegedly plotting to murder Kavanaugh, including the publication of a leaked draft of a Supreme Court ruling that would overturn Roe v. Wade, giving states the ability to more closely regulate abortion.
“I’ve been suicidal for a long time, and when I saw that the leaked draft, it made me upset and then it made me want to, I don’t know,” Roske said. “I was under the delusion that I could make the world a better place by killing him.”
Roske said another motivating factor was that he heard the Supreme Court was going to loosen gun restrictions, which would make it easier for people to acquire guns.
Roske agreed that it was ironic he was able to obtain a gun before he traveled to the Washington area.
He had several psychiatric holds placed on him in the past. However, since more than five years had passed since the last one, this did not prevent him from buying a firearm.

Denver is the capital and most populous city in Colorado which incidently made the NICB’s hot spot list for the top state by number of auto thefts. Not only did Denver experience 964 thefts per 100,000 residents, but the theft rate increased by 37%. As with most places, Kia and Hyundai vehicles make up a large percentage of those cars stolen.

Well south of Denver and with a much smaller population, the city of Pueblo takes the third spot on our list. The city experienced auto theft at a rate of 891 per 100,000 residents. Additionally, the theft rate increased by a whopping 47% in one year. Pueblo police cite driver apathy as a reason behind the record levels of theft.

]]>According to Harris County Sheriff’s deputies, the kids involved in the attempted robbery ranged in age from 12 to 14. Reports suggest they approached a man while displaying firearms, seemingly with the intent to rob him. The confrontation escalated quickly when the man, who was also armed, defended himself by pulling out his gun and firing at the teens.
Three of the teens were struck by gunfire. Law enforcement and paramedics responding to the scene found one with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby trauma center in critical condition. Two others, who also sustained gunshot wounds, were transported to the hospital and are reportedly in stable condition.
The adult male believed to have been the robbery target returned to the scene shortly after the incident. He turned himself in to authorities and is cooperating fully with their investigation. Deputies confirmed the man is being questioned and detained as part of the ongoing inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Police have also detained a fourth teenager who was allegedly involved in the attempted robbery. As of now, detectives are questioning the teen to better understand his connection to the events and whether he played an active role in the incident.
Residents in the area were shaken after hearing gunfire so close to their homes. A nearby neighbor described how the sound startled him—it was so loud it seemed to be outside his door. He walked outside with his own firearm to assess the situation. “It sounded like it was right at my front door,” he said.
Officials are continuing their investigation into the case to determine what led to the confrontation and to verify all parties’ accounts. They’re urging anyone with more information to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The CEO of UnitedHealth was fatally shot in the chest Wednesday morning outside the Hilton hotel in Midtown in what police say was a targeted attack. Brian Thompson, 50, was at the hotel at around 6:46 am when a masked man fired at the CEO and fled eastbound on 6th Avenue, police sources told The Post. Thomas was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Thompson became CEO of UnitedHealthcare in 2021 after joining UnitedHealth Group in 2004. UnitedHealth Group is largest health insurance company in the US by revenue, with over $189 billion in 2024.
Unfortunately, even gang members and individuals that had previously been convicted of committing very serious crimes were allowed to come in without being properly screened. “I have never felt so scared in this neighborhood the way I feel now,” one of the carjacking victims told The Post this week.
In one of the wealthiest areas of the Big Apple, an “atmosphere where anything goes” now prevails.
How in the world did this happen?
Sadly, the answer is obvious. It is being reported that there are “almost 60,000 criminal migrants in New York City” at this point…

The figures, reviewed by The New York Post, show that there are 58.000 illegal migrants who are criminals or are facing criminal charges.
As The Post states, “Of the 759,218 illegal-border crossers living in the Big Apple the feds were aware of as of Nov. 17, a jaw-dropping 58,626—7.7%—were either previously convicted of crimes or had criminal charges pending.”
If our borders were secure, things would be far different.
But now criminals openly sell goods that they have stolen on the sidewalks in some of the ritziest parts of New York City.
Of course it certainly doesn’t help that police officers in New York have their hands tied and that those in authority are not very interested in prosecuting non-violent crimes. In fact, one veteran NYPD detective recently admitted that criminals are “emboldened by the lack of prosecution for anything in New York City”…
The carjackers and other shameless criminals are “emboldened by the lack of prosecution for anything in New York City,” a veteran NYPD detective said.
“They’re also doing it in broad daylight so they’re not even caring who’s around. [Manhattan District Attorney Alvin] Bragg is going to have to step up and do something,” the detective added.
Sadly, even when migrants commit violent crimes they are often put right back into the streets.

An ******* immigrant with an extensive criminal background was arrested for attempting to kidnap and rape a stranger he captured on a popular Virginia trail days after being released from jail, according to police.
During a press conference Monday evening, the Herndon Police Department announced that Denis Humberto Naverrette Romero, 31, was charged with abduction with intent to defile and rape a stranger he grabbed off a trail.
“Let me start by saying that I am incredibly saddened and outraged that a crime like this could happen here in the town of Herndon,” said Herndon Police Chief Maggie DeBoard.
How many times have we seen women get sexually assaulted by violent criminals that get put back into the streets instead of being deported?

The NFL issued a security alert to team security directors and the players’ union Wednesday about organized and skilled criminals that are increasingly targeting the homes of professional athletes, including the recent burglaries of Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, according to the memo obtained by NFL.com.
Sources say the FBI is investigating the crime wave as international organized crime. The league, the NFL Players Association and team security forces also have been monitoring the crime spree, which is believed to be tied to a South American crime syndicate. At least one other current NFL player’s home was burglarized in the past week.
“It’s legit,” said one source familiar with the situation. “It’s a transnational crime ring, and over the last three weeks, they’ve focused on NBA and NFL players, and it’s all over the country.”
From this point forward, all of our sports stars are going to need armed security at their homes at all times.

These gangs are highly organized, and they “conduct extensive surveillance” in order to determine when the homes of targeted players will be empty…
Multiple people with knowledge of the crimes said the perpetrators are nonconfrontational and do not burglarize homes while residents are inside. Instead, they use public records to find players’ addresses and conduct extensive surveillance. Then, by tracking team schedules and the social media accounts of players and their families, they wait until homes are empty — often during games — and gain access and quickly steal items such as cash, jewelry, watches and handbags, focusing mainly on master bedrooms and closets.

(DCNF)—Vice President Kamala Harris avoided answering a reporter Sunday afternoon on how she voted on California’s crime ballot measure, Proposition 36.
Republicans in the liberal state have pushed for Prop 36, which seeks to increase penalties for retail and drug crimes in California, which has struggled with rising crime. Speaking to a pool of reporters just two days before Election Day, Harris was asked if she had cast her ballot, and how she voted on the stricter crime measure. \
“So my ballot is on its way to California and I’m going to trust the system that it will arrive there. I’m not going to talk about the vote on that because, honestly, it’s the Sunday before the election. I don’t intend to create an endorsement one way or another around it, but I did vote,” Harris said.
In 2014, Proposition 47 was introduced in the state and allowed the reclassification of some felonies as misdemeanors, hitting the state’s businesses and retailers as the measure reclassified offenses such as shoplifting and grand theft. As a result of local residents’ pushback, Proposition 36 campaign was introduced and backed by California District Attorneys Association, California State Sheriffs’ Association, the Republican Party of California and Democratic San Francisco Mayor London Breed.
Since mid-September, Harris has remained silent on Prop 36, declining to state whether she would vote in favor of the measure. Notably, Harris also avoided publicly disclosing her vote on Prop 47 while serving as California’s attorney general. The vice president has faced criticism for recently flip-flopping on left-leaning policies she previously supported before 2020.
Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom, however, came out against the measure in September, claiming it would take “millions from what’s proven to actually keep us safe,” according to Politico. However, as support for the measure has continued to rise, the governor has begun to highlight his administration’s efforts to curb retail theft, noting that while he believes the measure will pass, he “hope[s] people take the time to understand what they’re supporting,” The Sacramento Bee reported.
Within a recent poll conducted by the Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC), the tough on crime measure is poised to pass within the state as 73% of those surveyed stated they will be voting “yes” on their ballots.

]]>(DCNF)—An illegal immigrant man was arrested in New York after allegedly raping a 5-year-old girl, according to a Friday news release from Nassau County Police Department.
Wilson Castillo Diaz was accused of allegedly attacking the young girl on Oct. 16, according to the news release. Diaz was arrested on Oct. 26, and the girl was taken to a local hospital, according to the release.
Diaz was arraigned in court in Hempstead, New York, on Oct. 23, according to the police. The defendant was charged with first degree rape, endangering the welfare of a child and attempted rape, according to the release.
Diaz illegally immigrated to the Rio Grande Valley area of Texas in April 2014, according to the release. The man was then arrested by the U.S. Border Patrol, before he was released and later did not appear at an immigration court hearing, according to the release.
There have been various instances of crimes committed by illegal immigrants occurring across the U.S. in the past year, including a man who illegally immigrated to the U.S. in 2023 allegedly shooting a Jewish man in Chicago on Saturday, and migrants reportedly making up roughly 75% of arrests in Midtown Manhattan.
Vice President Kamala Harris has faced criticism over her handling of the border as President Joe Biden’s unofficial “border czar,” including from former President Donald Trump, who has repeatedly criticized her over the surge in illegal immigration America has experienced under the Biden-Harris administration.
Immigration is one of the top concerns for voters in this election cycle. Of registered voters, 54% said they would trust Trump to handle immigration over 45% who prefer Harris to address immigration, according to a Gallup poll published on Oct. 9.

Looting broke out on the streets of Los Angeles on Wednesday night after the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the New York Yankees to win the 2024 World Series.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said they had received reports of “looting at several stores in the area of 8th and Broadway” and people were urged to stay out of the area.
This has become way too common.
When a team wins a major championship, it is basically expected that citizens of that city will start rioting and looting.
A Nike store that had actually been boarded up in order to prevent looting was hit really hard. We are being told that a “mob of looters” was seen “carrying merchandise and throwing it into cars”…
The Los Angeles Police Department shared footage of a mob of looters running in and out of a boarded-up Nike store carrying merchandise and throwing it into cars parked outside the store about four miles from Dodger Stadium just after 11 p.m.
If this is what they will do when they are “celebrating”, what will they do when they are extremely angry? You might want to think about that.
In addition to looting stores, the rioters also set a city bus on fire…
As looters ransacked businesses, other areas of downtown Los Angeles were plunged into madness.
The LAPD said a “hostile crowd” — estimated at between 200 and 300 people — lit an MTA bus on fire about a mile from Dodger Stadium around 12:35 a.m. local time.
Footage posted to Citizen captured the moment a massive crowd — the majority of whom were wearing Dodgers jerseys and apparel — surrounded and sat atop the graffiti-laced bus.
Needless to say, what we just witnessed in Los Angeles is not even worth comparing to the chaos that could potentially follow this election.
Survey after survey has shown that Americans are extremely alarmed about what is coming, and that includes a new poll that was just released by the Associated Press…
American voters are approaching the presidential election with deep unease about what could follow, including the potential for political violence, attempts to overturn the election results and its broader implications for democracy, according to a new poll.
According to that poll, a large proportion of the country is very concerned about the possibility of post-election violence…
About 4 in 10 registered voters say they are “extremely” or “very” concerned about violent attempts to overturn the results after the November election. A similar share is worried about legal efforts to do so. And about 1 in 3 voters say they are “extremely” or “very” concerned about attempts by local or state election officials to stop the results from being finalized.
Relatively few voters — about one-third or less — are “not very” or “not at all” concerned about any of that happening.
At this point, it appears quite likely that Donald Trump will emerge victorious on November 5th.
To many on the left, that is literally the worst possible thing that could ever happen.
I know that this may sound a bit nuts to many of you, but this is how they actually see the world.
There has never been a politician that the left has hated more than Donald Trump, and if he wins this election after everything that has happened over the last eight years, for millions of Democrats it will feel like the world is ending.
And if President Trump attempts to crack down on post-election chaos after he is sworn in, it will just reinforce everything that the left believes about him. As Lee Smith has noted, we really are on the verge of a very troubling scenario…
Prominent post-election scenarios forecast such widespread rioting that the newly elected president would be compelled to invoke the Insurrection Act. With some senior military officials refusing to follow Trump’s orders, according to the scenarios, the U.S. Armed Forces would split, leaving America on the edge of the abyss.
By vilifying Trump as a despotic madman who must be stopped before he can commence his reign of terror, the regime’s propaganda apparatus not only slanders Trump but also pre-emptively threatens the reputation, as well as the livelihood and perhaps the liberty, of current military personnel. The point is to push the military against Trump: When the time comes to act, will you stand for democracy or side with a tyrant who sees the military only as an instrument to advance his personal interests?
Close to half the country is not going to want to be governed by whoever wins this election.
Unless you are completely and utterly delusional, you should be able to see that this is a major problem.
We are headed for unprecedented societal chaos no matter how this election turns out. I wish that it wasn’t true, but we are a deeply, deeply divided nation.
For a long time I have been urging everyone to find a way to love one another even though we don’t agree on everything. But people like me are being drowned out by those that are preaching hate, division and revenge.
Now we are about to reap what we have sown, and it will not be pleasant.

Yes, the numbers of violent crimes the Democrats and the FBI first reported during 2022 were WAY LOWER than the real statistics, because there were over 37,000 more aggravated assaults than they reported, over 33,000 more robberies, over 7,700 more rapes, 4,300 more sex crimes, and nearly 1,700 more murders.
Crime rates have skyrocketed, but the statistics reported don’t even come close to the real figures, because the Liberal prosecutors and judges let so many off the hook, plus many of these illegal immigrants are never prosecuted, or they can’t even be identified because they have no records in the system.

]]>The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) checks the background of illegal aliens they have in custody. But, the administration’s letter to Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX) shows that as of July 21, 2024, ICE let 435,719 convicted criminals and 226,847 people with pending criminal charges in their home countries into the U.S.
Of those cleared by ICE, 13,099 have convictions for homicide, and another 1,845 were facing criminal charges. Some 9,461 have convictions for sex offenses (not including assault or commercialized sex), and 2,659 face pending charges. The convictions include other crimes such as assault (62,231), robbery (10,031), sexual assault (15,811), weapons offenses (13,423), and dangerous drugs (56,533).
About 7.4 million noncitizens are in the “national docket data,” so 662,776 is 9% of the total, and if one extrapolates the numbers to the homicide rate in this country, it strongly indicates that the government is letting migrants into this country who commit murder at a rate 50% higher than the rest of the U.S. population.
And these numbers clearly underestimate the crime rate of these noncitizens. The noncitizens in the “national docket data” turned themselves in to border agents for processing or were caught. Those who don’t turn themselves in are obviously far more likely to have something to hide from those doing the processing, so-called “gotaways,” who are observed illegally entering the U.S. but not caught or turned back.
These figures coincide with other data from the Arizona prison system and show illegal aliens commit crime at much higher rates than Americans or legal immigrants.
Under the Remain-in-Mexico policy, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) did background checks on immigrants’ cases, including contacting the country that the immigrant is from before they are approved to come to the U.S.
ICE agents cannot access the same databases to check on the immigrants, and they didn’t contact the immigrant’s home country. Plus, the massive inflow of immigrants has overwhelmed the system. The Deputy Director for ICE blames the “enormous workload” agents face, so they haven’t been able to do even the limited background checks they are doing. There are so many coming in that the government can’t house these immigrants until their backgrounds are properly checked.
ICE processed these criminals as they entered the country, but it didn’t identify them as criminals, so it released them into the country. Now, they are just walking around freely in the United States, and no one knows where they are.
It took over six months for the Biden administration to finally respond to a congressional request for these numbers. The deputy director for ICE “apologized” for the delay.
As bad as these numbers are, the reality may be even worse. The Biden-Harris administration is cooking the books to make the border crisis not look as bad as it is. For example, in mid-September, retired San Diego Border Patrol Chief Patrol Agent Aaron Heitke testified how the Biden-Harris administration ordered him not to publicize the arrests of illegal border crossers identified as having ties to terrorism.
Democrats quickly pointed out that some of these criminals came in before the Biden administration. But the administration’s letter to Rep. Tony Gonzales, a Texas Republican, didn’t provide a breakdown of how many came through under Biden-Harris. The administration policy, with its limited background checks and overwhelmed agents, has a much higher error rate compared to Trump’s Remain-in-Mexico approach. Background checks are ineffective if officials don’t even contact the immigrant’s home country.
Even if illegal immigrants weren’t committing crimes at higher rates than the general population, the American people have a right to expect those entering this country to be screened in order to prevent more murderers, rapists, drug dealers, and thieves from entering the country. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have the authority to call for expedited extradition for criminal illegal aliens in the U.S., but they have only moved to make extradition more difficult.
