Matt Walsh’s movie “Am I Racist” cracked the top five at the box office over the weekend. The movie brought in $4.7 million in revenue from 1,517 theaters. The title track for the movie from Bryson Gray has also hit fifth place on the soundtrack iTunes charts.
The film produced by the Daily Wire has Walsh go on a satirical “journey” to becoming a “certified DEI expert.” The company used only $3 million to make the film and the company partnered with SDG Releasing, a distribution company that was started by writers of “God’s Not Dead” Cary Solomon and Chuck Konzelman, per ABC News.
This was paired with Gray’s title track “Am I Racist?” by Gray.
The film portrays Walsh learning and growing in his understanding of DEI programs and towards the end, he is able to dupe news organizations that he has seriously adopted “DEI expert” as his newfound career path. […]
