“Republican” Senators Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski voted against Patel’s confirmation, making the final vote a nail-biting 51-49.

Former Republican Leader Mitch McConnell was a question mark but voted in favor of Patel. Earlier in the day, McConnell announced his retirement; he will not seek reelection in 2026.

Patel has been a controversial appointment as far as Democrats and legacy media are concerned. He has vowed degrees of transparency that far exceed any of his predecessors, including promises to release the Epstein List as well as other potential “dirt” on politicians past and present.

This story is breaking and will be updated with more reactions.

It is currently being claimed that bird flu is widespread in wild birds worldwide and is causing outbreaks in poultry, dairy cows and cats, and has resulted in several human cases in the US, including a recent case in Wyoming.  By coincidence, yesterday, the US Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) gave conditional approval for an updated bird flu vaccine for poultry.

An outbreak of bird flu at a farm in New Zealand in December resulted in the culling of almost 160,000 hens.  But, warned New Zealand’s Biosecurity Minister yesterday, a different strain of the flu was circulating globally and would likely arrive in New Zealand.

At the end of January, GAVI “Vaccines Work” was delighted to announce that restrictions had been put in place in the UK to curb the spread of bird flu.  Almost 1.8 million farmed and captive birds have been culled in the past three months due to avian flu outbreaks across the UK.

Reuters reported yesterday that there has been an outbreak of bird flu in Canada.

And so, it goes on.  Countries’ pandemic-vaccine industries are moving in lockstep, just as they did with COVID-19.  In the following, Clayton Baker explains more about their pandemic playbook, which they used for COVID-19 and are now using for bird flu.  “Learn it, and you can understand how to put an end to it,” he writes.

Although he refers to the pandemic industry in the USA, similar can be applied worldwide.

Bird flu can be very confusing. This is true because, as is so often the case with our government, those who claim to be trying to solve the problem – our so-called “public health” and “pandemic preparedness” “experts” – are actually the ones who created the problem. What is worse, they are actively seeking to perpetuate it.

In this brief article, my goal is to explain what is happening with H5N1 Bird flu in the clearest, most fundamental terms. I hope to make it so clear that all our elected officials can understand what is going on and therefore can take action to stop it.

The key to understanding the current bird flu panic is this: Bird flu is a complete rerun of the covid script. There is just one twist:

Last time, with covid, the pandemic-planning bioterrorists directly blackmailed us by taking away our civil rights, to coerce us to accept their unsafe and ineffective vaccines.

This time, with Bird flu, the pandemic planning bioterrorists are indirectly blackmailing us by targeting our food, to coerce us to accept more of their unsafe and ineffective vaccines into our food supply and those who supply it.

Here is their playbook. Learn it, and you can understand how to put an end to it.

Let’s review. What happened during covid?

1. Over many years, bioweapons scientists, under the guise of “pandemic preparedness,” genetically manipulated a bat coronavirus to be both transmissible and virulent in humans. In other words, they created a bioweapon.
2. Meanwhile, they also developed and patented technologies for vaccines against that same virus. In other words, they created the countermeasure to their bioweapon.
3. In late 2019, the laboratory-manipulated coronavirus bioweapon, SARS-CoV-2, was leaked from a laboratory.
4. While the countermeasure vaccines were rushed into production, “public health” authorities took advantage of the laboratory leak by denying its occurrence while simultaneously coercing governments to impose lockdowns and other civil rights violations on the human population.
5. To perpetuate the lockdowns, “public health” authorities performed indiscriminate PCR testing for the virus among the population, knowing full well this would generate countless false positives.
6. The authorities used this excessive testing, along with media-generated fear-mongering and governmental abuse of power, to prolong the lockdowns and the civil rights abuses.
7. The lockdowns and civil rights abuses were used to blackmail the population into mass acceptance of the vaccines into their own bodies in exchange for a return to normal life.

What is happening now with H5N1 bird flu?

1. Over many years, bioweapons scientists, under the guise of “pandemic preparedness,” have genetically manipulated the H5N1 avian influenza virus to cross classes of animals and even become more transmissible to humans. In other words, they created a bioweapon.
2. Meanwhile, they also developed and patented technologies for vaccines against that same virus. In other words, they created the countermeasure to their bioweapon.
3. In early 2022, a lab-manipulated bird flu bioweapon leaked from the USDA Southeast Poultry Lab in Athens, Georgia. Multiple Bird flu leaks have also occurred from other laboratories.
4. While the countermeasure vaccines are being rushed into production, “public health” authorities take advantage of these lab leaks by denying their occurrence while simultaneously coercing our government to impose mass slaughter of farm animals, creating food shortages for the human population.
5. To perpetuate the mass slaughter and worsen food shortages, “public health” authorities are performing indiscriminate PCR testing for the virus among the animal population and farmers, knowing full well this will generate countless false positives.
6. Authorities are using this excessive testing along with media-generated fear-mongering and governmental abuse of power, to prolong the mass slaughter of farm animals and the food shortages.
7. The mass slaughter of farm animals and resulting food shortages are being used to blackmail the population into mass acceptance of the vaccines in their food supply, in exchange for a return to normal life.

This is not a conspiracy theory. This is basic pattern recognition.

The “pandemic planners” are operating just like a moderately competent, if unimaginative, high school football coach. If you run a play, and it works, run it again. Keep running it until they stop it.

How do we stop it?

Here’s how:

1. End the brutal mass slaughter of poultry flocks immediately. This disgusting, death-wish practice is directly analogous to the deadly and unconstitutional human lockdowns during covid. It is also an act of biological terrorism. It traumatises farmers, wastes resources, creates food shortages, is inhumane in the extreme to animals and does nothing to stop the virus. Let the flocks develop natural immunity. Slaughtered flocks cannot develop natural immunity to a virus, just as locked-down human populations cannot either. Sound familiar?
2. End the indiscriminate PCR testing for Bird flu in animals and humans immediately. A positive PCR test is like the proverbial grand jury indictment – you can get one on a ham sandwich if you try hard enough. Willy-nilly PCR testing creates innumerable false positives, which fuels the fear porn and hysteria, paralyses decision-makers and promotes population-wide blackmail.
3. The USDA appears to be acting as a rogue agency. The USDA’s leadership needs to be thoroughly reviewed and, well, culled. All those attached to the pandemic preparedness industry, and all those perpetuating the fear-mongering, irresponsible mass PCR testing, mass slaughter of animals, etc. must be immediately removed from the agency. They represent not only a threat to animals and the food supply but to President Trump’s entire second term.
4. The personnel at the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) need a similar prompt and thorough overhaul.TheCDC, while somewhat chastened by President Trump’s executive order silencing Health and Human Services (“HHS”) agencies, and benefitting from the departure of former Director Mandy Cohen, is still led by Biden-era appointments whose past resumes raise serious doubt about their willingness to abandon the covid era “pandemic planning” model of public health. For example, acting director Susan Monarez, PhD’s biography shows multiple Deep State connections to the pandemic preparedness industry. Should she remain at the CDC?
5. The USDA Southeast Poultry Research Lab in Athens, Georgia, should be shut down and thoroughly investigated.
6. The Kawaoka Bird flu laboratory at the University of Wisconsin, which has been doing reckless gain-of-function research for decades, and which has had multiple lab leaks, should be shut down and investigated as well.
7. Brooke Rollins, the new USDA Secretary, needs to be fully briefed on H5N1 Bird flu by honest experts who are not embedded in the pandemic preparedness industry. People such as Meryl Nass, MD, and Peter McCullough, MD and his team would both be excellent choices.
8. President Trump should follow through on his 2024 promise to disband the redundant, Biden-created Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy (“OPPR”).Mr. Trump’s instinct was correct then, and it remains correct now.
9. The $590 million bird flu vaccine development contract to Moderna that the Biden administration approved a couple of days before President Trump’s inauguration should be cancelled.
10. The USDA’s reported “conditional approval” of a Bird flu vaccine with Zoetis should be cancelled. Bird flu vaccination in poultry flocks has been demonstrated in other countries to select for more virulent strains. Furthermore, the CEO of Zoetis has close ties to Pfizer, BlackRock and the Gates Foundation, all well-established bad actors during the covid era. Beware, Mr. President.

The “pandemic preparedness” racket isn’t as complicated as it seems. Once one comes to terms with the fact that the arsonists are running the fire department – as they have been demonstrated by DOGE to be doing in so many other areas of government as well – we can recognise what is actually happening and apply the necessary solutions.

One area of growing interest is the connection between your gut health and cancer risk, particularly the composition of the food you eat.

Your gut is a fascinating, complex ecosystem teeming with trillions of bacteria, both helpful and harmful. These tiny residents play a crucial role in digestion, nutrient absorption and even your immune system.

Through various processes and interventions, your body maintains a delicate balance, with the good bacteria keeping the bad ones in check. But when this balance gets disrupted, particularly due to consumption of vegetable oils, chronic inflammation arises, contributing to various health problems, including colon cancer.

Decoding Your Diet — The Rise of Ultraprocessed Foods

The ultraprocessed foods you see in your grocery store aisles, like instant noodles, frozen pizzas and pre-packaged snacks, have undergone extensive changes from their natural state, and often contain added sugars and artificial flavors. While convenient, these hidden ingredients negatively impact your gut bacteria and overall health. Particularly harmful are vegetable oils, which fuel the rise of colon cancer in America.

In a study published in the journal Gut, researchers have shown a correlation between intake of ultraprocessed foods high in certain vegetable oils and an increased risk of colorectal cancer (CRC).² To start, they likened CRC as a “chronically inflamed, poorly healing wound.” This contrasts with normal wound-healing, which is marked by a regular inflammatory process, but followed by a pro-resolution period.

Following this framework, they gathered 81 human CRC samples alongside normal samples for comparison. Using liquid chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry, they noted that CRC samples have defective “lipid class switching” that lean toward a proinflammatory state.³

In an interview for Scientific American, Dr. Timothy Yeatman, one of the co-authors of the study, explains this concept:

“Resolving lipids, or proresolving lipids, were only recently discovered by Charles Serhan of Harvard University. And he described something called ‘lipid class switching,’ which means that the body, when it undergoes normal healing, will switch from the inflammatory phase to the resolving phase.

He basically found that there are a number of these lipids — primarily omega-3 derivative lipids — that lead to resolution of inflammation. But inflammation, unchecked, can lead to cancer.”⁴

The Scientific American report also explains that chronic, rampant inflammation damages normal cells and impairs their ability to fight cancerous growth. And according to Yeatman, the high intake of omega-6 is a strong contributor.⁵ Explaining the class switching process further under a diet high in omega-6:⁶

“During the initial phase of normal wound healing, prostaglandins and leukotrienes (LTs) are synthesised and orchestrate an anti-inflammatory response wherein PGE2/PGD2 induce ALOX15 expression causing a switch from proinflammatory mediators (LTs) to pro-resolving lipid mediators (lipoxins, resolvins, maresins, protectins and maresins).

This process is called lipid mediator class switching (LCS) and has been identified as an essential mechanism for resolving inflammation. This LCS process appears to be deficient in CRC, resulting in the majority of tumours sustaining a chronic inflammatory state.”

Now, let’s talk about the vegetable oils lurking in many processed foods — canola, corn and soybean oil are all common examples. These oils are high in linoleic acid (LA). While LA is not inherently harmful because your body needs some of it, it becomes problematic when consumed in excess. The issue is vegetable oils are often used for frying, baking and adding flavor to the majority of processed foods, causing the modern Western diet to be overloaded with LA.

The Gut Microbiome — A Balancing Act

Your gut is like a bustling city with diverse residents. You have good bacteria acting as friendly shopkeepers to keep things running smoothly. Then there are the “bad bugs,” like mischievous pranksters, who cause trouble when they get out of control. Maintaining a healthy gut microbiome is all about ensuring the good bacteria have the upper hand.

Chronic inflammation, often triggered by an imbalance in the gut bacteria, contributes to various metabolic diseases.⁷ Think of it like a constant, low-grade fire in your city. This inflammation damages surrounding tissues and creates a breeding ground for disease.

So, how does diet impact this delicate ecosystem? When you consume a diet rich in ultraprocessed junk foods high in omega-6s, you’re nourishing the bad bugs. They thrive while the good bacteria struggle to compete. This disruption in the gut microbiome leads to an inflammatory environment, increasing the risk of colon cancer.

These findings were observed in a 2012 study;⁸ a decade later, research published in Nutrients still reinforces this same line of thought.⁹ As noted by the researchers, a high-fat diet disrupts the gut microbiome, leading to the creation of harmful metabolites that contribute to inflammation.

“The intestinal microbiota cause the deconjugation of bile acids in the intestine, resulting in the formation of secondary bile acids, including deoxycholic acid (DCA). It has been shown that a high-fat diet can increase DCA levels up to 10 times. Increased DCA levels are associated with impaired intestinal epithelial integrity along with gut inflammation …

In addition, high levels of secondary bile acids (BAs) contribute to the formation of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species. BAs also damage cell membranes, mitochondria, and DNA, which may result in an increased risk of colon cancer. Bacterial endotoxins and metabolites can synergistically increase their harmful properties.

The accumulation of DCA and lipoteichoic acid (LTA) amplifies signals caused by TLR2 activation, leading to overproduction of COX2, which is associated with the suppression of natural killer T and dendritic cells and may lead to cancer and inflammatory diseases,” they reported.

Simple Steps to Restoring Your Gut Health

Emerging research reveals that your gut and brain are intricately connected, often referred to as the gut-brain axis. This complex communication network significantly impacts mood, mental well-being, and even cognitive function. The gut and brain communicate through various pathways, including nerves, hormones and immune signals.¹⁰

These practices help regulate your body’s stress response while promoting a healthier gut environment.

Sleep also plays a crucial role in the body’s repair and restoration processes, including the maintenance of a healthy gut microbiome. As noted in one study, sleep deprivation disrupts gut bacteria and contribute to inflammation.¹² Therefore, prioritizing a good night’s sleep is essential for both your well-being, including gut health.

Regular exercise has been shown to have numerous benefits for gut health, too. It helps increase the diversity of gut bacteria and reduce inflammation.¹³ Engaging in regular moderate-intensity activities, such as walking, gardening, swimming or cycling, contribute to a thriving microbiome.

Following a moderate-intensity workout is important, as the study shows that it promotes gut health. Conversely, high-intensity exercise, especially for long durations, increase your risk of leaky gut syndrome and systemic inflammation, which results in gut dysbiosis.¹⁴

Additional Strategies for a Healthy, Happy Gut

Aside from exercise and stress management, there are other ways to help protect your gut health. Here are some practical tips:

The Most Important Strategy — Reduce Your Intake of Vegetable Oils

Based on the published data, it’s clear that excess LA intake is one of the largest drivers of chronic disease in the Western diet. Therefore, in addition to the strategies I outline above, it’s crucial that you minimize your intake of LA as much as possible.

To be clear, your body still needs LA for optimal function. But again, the crux of the metabolic issues most adults experience today is excess intake due to the proliferation of ultraprocessed food both in groceries and restaurants. The top culprits that contribute to this problem are:

• Soybean
• Safflower
• Cottonseed
• Sunflower
• Canola
• Corn

When LA, a polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) is oxidized, it releases damaging free radicals. In turn, these give rise to advanced lipoxidation end products (ALEs). In the case of omega-6 fats, they turn into OXLAMS (oxidized linoleic acid metabolites). Worse, LA has a half-life of 600 to 800 days, or approximately two years.

This means that it’ll take you several years to replace the 95% of the LA embedded in your cells with healthy fats. For a detailed explanation of the damage that LA causes, read “Linoleic Acid — The Most Destructive Ingredient in Your Diet.”

To protect your health, cut down your LA intake to below 5 grams per day, which is a similar amount to what our ancestors used to eat. There, it’ll tally your total LA intake.

While LA is harmful, be mindful of your omega-3 intake, as this is a PUFA as well. When consumed in excess quantities, omega-3 will also create metabolic damage similar to LA as it also breaks down into ALEs. Moreover, the bulk of your food intake will comprise healthy carbs. If you eat too much fat, glucose metabolism will be hampered. As a general rule, keep your fat intake to below 30% of your daily calories.

“With this Executive Order, President Trump is ensuring taxpayer resources are used to protect the interests of American citizens, not illegal aliens,” the fact sheet states. It notes that illegal immigrants are “generally barred from welfare programs” but suggests that if some are granted parole and classified as “qualified aliens,” they may become eligible for various programs on a sliding scale.

It is the latest action in the president’s ongoing crackdown on illegal immigration since reentering the White House on Jan. 20. Trump has signed numerous executive orders related to immigration, including one reinterpreting the 14th Amendment’s Birthright Citizenship clause, another creating a “national border emergency,” and others targeting “sanctuary” cities and jurisdictions.

Trump also ordered the continuing construction of a wall at the southern border, ended most asylum programs, reinstituted his previous “Remain in Mexico” policy, and ended the CBP One app, which migrants used to schedule asylum hearings ahead of entering the United States.

Trump recently signed an executive order calling for detaining criminal illegal immigrants at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in Cuba and began crackdowns in major cities with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The president’s attempt to end birthright citizenship for children born to illegal immigrants has faced numerous legal challenges. On Feb. 18, a federal judge denied the Trump administration’s motion for a partial stay on a previous preliminary injunction blocking the executive order from going into effect.

Trump also ended the Biden administration’s policies known as “catch and release,” which allowed many illegal immigrants to enter the United States and live for potentially years while they wait for their immigration court hearings. The president’s border czar, Tom Homan, said that daily border encounters have declined to fewer than 300, compared to more than 11,000 during their peak under the previous administration.

The new panel opens up the door to pursue sets of data for declassification that could shed light on some of the most controversial and impactful incidents during the Trump and Biden administrations, ranging from the Trump-Russia collusion probe to the chaotic Afghanistan withdrawal.

“[What] all of this is about is about transparency and accountability,” Rep. Brandon Gill, R-Texas, a member of the new task force, told the “John Solomon Reports“ podcast on Tuesday.

“You hear people, particularly on the left, talk about how, you know, Republicans are undermining faith in our institutions. And I think that, you know, the response is, do these institutions deserve to have faith put in them? And I think that what we want to do is restore real accountability and real faith back into our federal government,” he said.

Department of Defense (DOD) Secretary Pete Hegseth wrote to senior Pentagon leadership Tuesday that he wanted an 8% reduction in the defense budget in each of the next five years, according to a memo obtained by The Washington Post. Hegseth directed leaders to deliver a plan for the budget cuts by Feb. 24, citing wasteful spending and “bureaucracy” as part of the reasons for the cuts.

The move comes as the defense budget has ballooned to $850 billion, according to the DOD.

“President Trump’s charge to DOD is clear: achieve Peace through Strength,” Hegseth reportedly said in the memo. “The time for preparation is over — we must act urgently to revive the warrior ethos, rebuild our military, and reestablish deterrence. Our budget will resource the fighting force we need, cease unnecessary defense spending, reject excessive bureaucracy, and drive actionable reform including progress on the audit.”

The memo stipulated that 17 projects are exempt from the cuts, including southern border operations, nuclear weapons and missile defense upgrades and acquisition of drones as well as other munitions, according to The Washington Post. The memo stresses the continued funding for various overseas command facilities, with the notable exceptions of the European Command, Central Command in the Middle East and Africa Command.

The move comes in the light of Trump’s crusade against unnecessary government spending, creating the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) with the help of tech CEO and presidential advisor Elon Musk to tackle the issue specifically. DOGE officers have reportedly been into the Pentagon, obtaining a list of probationary employees Wednesday presumably to begin layoffs. Officials from DOGE claim to have already saved an estimated $55 billion in federal spending.

With DOGE’s help, USAID was shut down after it was discovered to have contributed to billions of wasteful programs overseas, including missions to promote LGBT causes and abortion access worldwide, among many other programs.

Some questionable purchases from the Pentagon included $6.1 million on lobster tails in September 2024, and $16.6 million on ribeye steaks and $6.4 million on salmon. Additionally, the Pentagon spent $5.1 million on Apple products, including 130 iPhone 16 Pro Maxes, which are considered luxury versions of the base iPhone 16 model.

The Pentagon also failed its seven consecutive audit in 2024, with the National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal year 2025 requiring the DOD to pass an audit by 2028.

The Pentagon did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.
