The Old Testament contains forty-eight specific prophecies related to Jesus’ first coming, which happened precisely as the prophets of old foretold. The odds that one person could fulfill all of them stagger the imagination, and together, they verify that He was truly the promised Messiah, the Christ.

During His earthly ministry, the Lord prepared His disciples for what was coming by repeatedly telling them about His future death and resurrection. In the Upper Room, the Savior again told them what was to happen so as to calm their troubled hearts concerning the news that He would soon leave them. Here’s the deal. Their belief in a God who cannot speak makes no sense. The One who created the universe obviously has the power to communicate if He so chooses. And why wouldn’t He make that choice? He created beings with minds, souls, and the capacity for two-way communications. Why not talk to us?

That raises a crucial question. How can we know that we have heard from Him? The Bible gives clear instructions about the credibility of those who claim to speak for God. It says to only believe those prophets whose words come true — every time and without exception. Deuteronomy 18:22 (NKJV) says, “When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken.”

Isaiah 41 speaks to the futility of idols. Verse 22 asks if idols can “declare to us things to come.” The answer is obvious. Whether a woodcarving or a golden calf, the idol is literally dumb.

But God is not dumb. He has spoken. Ezekiel 12:25 says, “For I am the Lord. I speak…” Stop and consider the wonder and the beauty of that statement. God, the Creator of the universe, has chosen to speak to humanity. He has chosen to communicate with us. He declares to us “things to come.” In millennia past, He saw us today. He was probably the only Christian in Jerusalem asleep that night. Everyone else was praying fervently for his release. So why was Peter asleep? Because he trusted in the Lord.

That’s good. That’s a step. Other states have done similarly. But this is the beginning, not the ending, of a fight that will take front and center in the new year, after the new president enters office, after Donald Trump returns — and helps return America to sanity.

The left is not leaving this transgender matter to the legislative and executive branches to decide. And the left is certainly not letting the will of the people decide, either. The LGBTQ community and its loudest, most mentally ill voices, are carrying the transgender issue all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. Skermetti, to determine the constitutional aspects of a Tennessee law that prohibits minors from receiving what’s been dubbed as “gender-affirming care” — which is to say hormone treatment, surgery, genital mutilation and the like — which is all to say: the destruction of one’s body.

Sea levels rose all around the world, bathing the continents and depositing vast rock layers that stretch across continents. That’s all coming from evolutionary scientists—but it almost sounds like they’re describing the initial stages of the global flood as waters began to rise and sea creatures were rapidly buried by these rising floodwaters.

I’ve always said that if the Bible didn’t mention a global flood, most geologists would believe that there was one! The evidence is all around us, and it’s overwhelming.

The article mentions that Grand Canyon is like a crime scene, where detectives must piece together what happened in the past. And that’s true—that’s the nature of historical science. We can’t directly test, observe, or repeat the past, so worldview—what one believes about the past—determines the interpretation of the evidence in the present.

The battle isn’t over the evidence. It’s over two different interpretations of the same evidence because of two different starting points: God’s Word vs. man’s word.
